Designer of the 2010s
The Ask
The ask of this project was to select a designer who began their career in fashion in the 2010s, and create a visual narrative answering who they are and their impact/contribution to fashion. We were asked to include picture examples of the designer and some pieces from their brand to create a cohesive and aesthetic slide deck.

Process
My first step in this project was to choose either a significant designer or an impactful trend of the 2010s. I chose a designer, as I have been a fan of Tyler, The Creator and his fashion endeavours for quite some time, and I knew he had started his brand Golf le Fleur in the 2010s. My first step was to research Tyler’s background aside from his musical discography, and synthesis my findings into one page of my deck. After I had summarized his fashion history, I did further research into his brand’s impact on fashion.
I compiled my findings into a 4 page visual narrative, that highlighted the designer and examples of his work.
Outcome
My key takeaway of this project was experience researching and understanding the impact of recent fashion history, and synthesizing what I learned into a visually pleasing slide deck that is informative and easy to read.
